Powering Water with Sunshine — The Professional Solar Water Pump Provider
Solar Pump Range
Choose by application, then by power source (DC or AC/DC hybrid).
Aquasolar manufactures 16 series / 209 models of solar water pump (150–3000 W, up to 260 m head and 80 m³/h) in both DC and AC/DC hybrid versions — submersible, surface and pool. All run straight from solar panels through an MPPT controller with no batteries required, and ship to 70+ countries with CE, RoHS, CB, TUV, SGS and ISO 9001 certification.
How Solar Water Pumping Works
A solar water pump turns sunlight directly into water — no grid, no fuel, no batteries required. Here is how the system works, how to size one, and where it is used.
Built for real-world water
Full-range DC & AC/DC solar water pumps for irrigation, livestock, off-grid homes and community water supply — reliable, efficient, trusted in 70+ countries.

Solar Water Pumps for Irrigation
Replace diesel with sunshine: solar pumping delivers water for drip, sprinkler and flood irrigation at zero fuel cost. From smallholder plots to 40-hectare farms, an Aquasolar system typically pays for itself within 1–3 seasons.

Community & Village Water Supply
Reliable, low-maintenance water schemes for villages, schools and clinics. Pump to an elevated tank during the day and distribute by gravity around the clock.

Solar Pumps for Livestock Watering
Keep troughs full on remote pasture with no grid and no fuel runs. A small solar array and a borehole pump water cattle, sheep and goats automatically, every sunny day.

15+ years building solar water pumps — and nothing else
Aquasolar is a professional solar water pump manufacturer founded in 2010 in Shanghai, China. Solar pumping is not a side line for us: it is the only thing we design, build and export.
We build our own permanent-magnet motors and sensorless FOC controllers in-house, run automated assembly and test lines, and ship more than 600,000 pumps a year to over 70 countries. Every unit is performance- and insulation-tested before it leaves the factory, and our export team supports distributors, EPCs and government water projects from enquiry through after-sales.
Why Aquasolar
Six reasons buyers in 70+ countries keep coming back.
Specialist, not a trader
A dedicated solar pump factory since 2010 — we own the tooling, the test benches and the after-sales, so you deal with the people who actually build the pump.
Core technology in-house
Our own permanent-magnet (PMSM) motors and sensorless FOC sine-wave controllers with MPPT >99% — up to 92% motor efficiency and 20–30% more water per day than ordinary AC pumps.
The widest range in one place
16 series and 209 models, 150–3,000 W, 2″–6″, DC and AC/DC hybrid — submersible, surface and pool. One supplier covers your whole project list.
Built for hard water conditions
Material grades matched to your water: SUS304 as standard, SUS316 for coastal and brackish water, progressive-cavity screw pumps for silty and sandy wells.
Tested and certified
Every pump is performance- and insulation-tested before shipping. CE, RoHS, CB, TUV, SGS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, built to IEC 62253 / 60034 / 60529.
Real export support
Engineering selection within 24 hours, OEM and ODM service, full datasheets and catalogues to download, and a 2-year warranty (3 years on stainless flagship lines).
Aquasolar pumps are built to international standards — IEC 62253 · IEC 60034 · IEC 60529 — and independently certified for safety, quality and environmental compliance.

How does a solar water pump work — do I need batteries?
The pump runs directly from solar panels through an MPPT controller: sunlight in, water out. No batteries are needed — pump into a storage tank during the day and use gravity at night. If you need water on demand around the clock, choose an AC/DC hybrid model that also accepts grid or generator power.
Should I choose a DC pump or an AC/DC hybrid?
If you can store water in a tank, a pure DC pump gives the best value and simplest install. If you need water at any hour, or your region has long cloudy spells, an AC/DC hybrid switches automatically to grid or generator power when solar is weak.
How do I size the pump and the solar array?
Two numbers decide it: total head (vertical lift plus pipe losses) and required flow. Use our online Pump Selector for an instant shortlist. For panels, size the PV array at roughly 1.3–1.5× the pump’s rated power — every datasheet lists the recommended array for each model.
Can your pumps handle sandy or salty water?
Yes — the key is matching materials to the water. For sandy boreholes choose our screw pumps (sand tolerance up to 0.25%) or stainless-impeller models; for brackish or coastal water we offer SUS316 wetted parts; pool pumps use corrosion-proof engineering plastic.
